Russia: Airmail labels

These labels were sent to me this year, almost at the same time. Both where sent from Moscow. What I think is funny is that they are so different. One is darker than the other and one has round edges.

I wonder which one is the newer design? Or maybe they do not are very strict printing rules when it comes to airmail labels? I know some countries are like that.
They are both cut out from a bigger sheet.
